Although what was planned to be a genocide, as the one done to the Tutsies by the Hutus, did not materialize due to god's intervention and unlike the Tutsies, the Darods of Somalia own and occupy the largest part of the country and therefore simply fled through the borders of the neighboring countries and later sought refuge in their regions of the country and amid their own tribes man started to rebuild their lives from start after losing all their century old property legitimately obtained property in the capital Mogadishu and the surrounding areas.

The Darods who were surprised by the amount of hate and brutality experienced by their members in the capital Mogadishu and surrounding areas after they were the ones who took a lion's share in bringing the nationhood and the flag as nine out of the thirteen founders of the S.Y.L., the organization that fought for the independence and the great Somali heroes Sayed Mohamed and Ahmed Gurey who fought against the British and Ethiopian colonizers were all from their members and unlike some clans of the Hawiye tribe such as Abgal who collaborated with the Italian colonizers until the last days of bringing the independence. Never abandoned the Somali hood have now realized the scope of the intended genocide and ethnic cleansing, after the so called Hawiye intellectuals like Togane take pride in his poem and decorates how the bodies of the Darods fleeing in boats from the killings by the Hawiye Moriyans floated in the beaches of Mombasa. Such bodies which have been documented by the U.N. to include mostly children, women, and elderly people whose next of kin are today living among the Somali Diaspora and back home and still mourning, it is imperative that some one has to talk back in the same language, disrespect, hate and racism that Togane takes pride in and this simple poem was intended to respond the hate monger called Togane.

The Moriyan who is the pride of Hawiye tribe, and Abgal,

The Moriyan who kidnap innocents and ask their relatives for ransom,

A culture and tradition never known in Somalia

Who removed and sold the monuments of Mogadishu for their copper,

The Moriyan who dug out the water pipes and sold them for their metal,

The Moriyan who cut the trees and sell them for their charcoal,

The Moriyan who drag dead body in the streets

A character and trait unknown to any race

Yes, Mr Togane your Hawiye has celebrated

To take pride in transforming Mogadishu

So called Hamar Cadde into a land fill site
That no one wants to even remember
Forget about coming back to it.

You can keep it and feast in it with your Moriyan

You can take your piece of Somalia and go to Hell
For we are not made of the same trait and gene

You are destructive in nature like the Mongol barbers

While I am known to build, respect,

You are primitive and backward,

While I am known to have civilization
That produced Kings, Sultans,
Garads, Ugases and institutions

That was based on respect,
Courtesy, and peaceful coexistence

You are known to be unruly and rude
While I am known to be polite and decent,

When the white man came,

You were a naked barber in the jungle,

While I had kings and Sultans

That were respected and treaty made with them.

When I was building boats and trading with Asia and Africa,

I have brought to you the flag, independence, and nationhood
